This week has been Spanish Week and we have tried lots of different food and have had fun in lots of different lessons. In maths we have been learning the Spanish numbers up to twenty and playing games. We also tried some different food and recorded what we felt about it and then used that information to create different diagrams and graphs.
Senna, Year 6
Thank you, Senna, for sharing your Spanish experience in this week’s blog.
The Spanish food that the children were able to enjoy, provided by Dorothy MacDonald (thank you, Dorothy!), included paella, sheep cheese, white nectarines, plums, satsumas, olives, olive bread, almond and honey torte, and almonds. Yum. They never did fun stuff like this when I went to school! It has been fun hearing about what the kids learned (and tasted) this week, from counting in Spanish to trying Spanish food to doing the register in Spanish. Why not continue the theme at home and try some Spanish food such as this easy paella recipe. Adiós!
