This week we had a visit from a theatre group (Fame Factory Spotlight Ltd in association with Northumbrian Water) who performed a play titled Little Green Riding Hood. The whole school enjoyed the performance and there was lots of shouting, cheering and laughter. There was a special message behind the play which taught us all a lot about ways to save water. After the performance each Key Stage group spent some time with the actors in a mini workshop discussing the different ways we could save water. Lots of brilliant ideas were suggested, such as turning off the tap when brushing our teeth or only being in the shower for 5 minutes.
Everyone enjoyed watching LG, Bo-Peep and the most popular Troll in Stanhope, Tilley. The performance ended with a special water themed version of heads, shoulders, knees and toes which we all enjoyed joining in with.
