As the end of the academic year draws to a close I would like to take this opportunity to tell you how incredibly proud I am of every child in our school; of every member of our amazing team of staff; of every parent, grandparent and family member who has supported the school and of our committed and dedicated Governors.
A school is referred to as ‘a community’ and that is because it requires every member of that community to make it a success. This year we have had many amazing successes. As you will know from my letters, the noticeboard and the website, we have endured a number of formal inspections this year and without fail, every single one of them has been graded 1 – outstanding. This doesn’t happen by magic. It happens because of the hard work, dedication and commitment of everyone involved.
As always I am incredibly proud of our children and their achievements whether that be in their SATs results, sporting achievements, work for charities, artwork or settling well into a new setting (and a huge range of other achievements).
I hope you all have a fantastic summer and look forward to seeing you again in September.
