New Outdoor Gym Equipment

There has been great excitement this week as the children have explored our new outdoor gym equipment. This fantastic piece of equipment was installed on Monday and Tuesday just before the children returned to school after the summer break. The company: Sunshine Gym worked really hard to get it ready for the children.

The equipment cost £5,000 following negotiation of a significant discount and was funded from our annual PE and Sports Premium Grant for 2023-2024.

From next week, each Learning Zone will have an allocated day on which it will be their turn on the equipment at playtime and lunchtime.

It is really great to see the children enjoying the new equipment and to be able to give them a fab excuse to get active!

Reception Baseline Assessment

All schools are required to carry out a Baseline Assessment for Reception children within 6 weeks of them starting school.

We will be starting our Baseline Assessments as soon as possible.
