Please read the letter regarding Home Schooling in this uncertain time.
Look at the wonderful Rainbow cake our children made today. They each made a different colour of the rainbow – the cake was delicious too!

On Tuesday 31st March 2020 we had a lovely day decorating egg cups and making Easter cards for our families. Daniel thought the best bit was the chocolate egg to go inside the egg cup!
On Monday 30th March 2020, Mrs Parvin and Miss Hepple made a decision they would live to regret – making play dough. What a mess, what a laugh and everyone had so much fun – apart from the cleaner!!
I know many of you will have joined the nation in clapping for the NHS at 8pm on 26.03.20. Inspired by this activity, our staff in school have decided to work with the children to paint a stone for each child in our school and to create a feature in our front garden to let every key worker know that our school community are grateful for everything they are doing.
We are so proud of little Scarlett who learnt to ride her bike yesterday. Her friend Daytona helped her and by the end of the day there was no stopping her – well done Scarlett – an amazing achievement!

Thank you to everyone who took part in our photography competition after school on Wednesday 18th March 2020. We really appreciate you taking part. Obviously, we have been overtaken by events and whilst some entries have been sent in, I am sure other participants have more important things to think about at the moment. As a result, we have decided to postpone the judging of the competition until things return to normality.
In the meantime, we thought we would share with you some of the images from the event that we have received so far.
Once again, thank you for supporting our school.
Here are some of the examples of the photo event:
What a beautiful spring day we’ve had today! Our children have had lots of fun – mainly playing outside in the fresh air. They have created an enormous rainbow which we have put up in the school window.
The team at Stanhope Barrington would like to add their thanks to every key worker who is working at this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
