Please read the latest letter regarding keeping our school safe:
Please note that all letters can also be found in our Letters Home section of this website.
Please read the School Newsletter – September 2020 to make sure you are up-to-date with everything happening in school. Thank you.
Anyone who works in school has the privilege of hearing children say the most wonderful things so we have set up a new section on our website so that we can share these little gems with you.
We also receive a vast amount of positive comments about our school and the special team who work here and again we would very much like to share these thoughts and this feedback with you.
We have therefore set up this section called ‘Have you heard?’ which contains an area for quotes from children and another area for quotes from adults.
I hope you enjoy these quotes and if there is something you would like to add yourself, please email it to email@example.com

Acting Head Teacher
Please read the following regarding how to access a quick benefit check with Linda Pearson, Rural Advice Worker to see if there is support available for you and your family:
As part of our reading curriculum we are recommending the additional use of Oxford Reading Owl to support your child’s reading. This is an online reading programme that has a range of books available in an e-book format, appropriate for your child’s ability. The books are the same as they will read from school, but offer the facility for the text to be read to them and sometimes have quizzes and activities linked to the books. Technology is a great way to get the children engaged and try something a little bit different.
The programme is free, but it does require you to make account to access the free e-books.
As you know reading is a vital part of your child’s educational journey. We have recently set up a weekly raffle ticket scheme to reward the children for their fantastic efforts towards reading regularly, (4 times per week in KS2 and 3 times per week in KS1). They will be entered into the draw to win a prize from Mrs. Cross’ basket.
If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Howes at school.
