On Thursday 21st September 2017, Eco Club harvested their crop for 2017. This included their potatoes, large turnips and runner beans. The seed potatoes were donated by the North Peninnes Horticultural Society so we thank them very much. We also had a potato growing competition, again the seed potatoes were donated by NPHS. Lucas W., who has left to go to Wolsingham Comprehensive School, won with his remarkable bucket of potatoes weighing in at 1.9kg. His place in the club has been taken by Freya R. The turnips which were planted by Thomas P., grew extremely well over the Summer holidays! The runner beans had also grown well, measuring about 5 inches long!
