This is one of our new Pupil Voice groups introduced in September 2021. This group will work with our Thrive Practitioners and Adult Mental Health First Aider. They will receive training in how to support children who may be unhappy or have worries in school as well as being the first point of contact for children at playtimes and lunchtimes who may just need someone to talk to or play with.

Meet our Happiness Heroes
Our Happiness Heroes are: Emily, Malachi, Amina, Riley, Ruby, George, Sophie, Katie and Lewis…
The Happiness Heroes recently met to discuss how we could help to promote good mental health within school. After generating lots of ideas, the children decided they wanted to make some origami gifts. They wanted to make an origami dog.
George said, “I’m going to give mine to Harry to cheer him up.”
“Thank you, George, I’m feeling much better now” said Harry after receiving the origami gift.
Wellness Washing Line
Today the Happiness Heroes decided they wanted to do something to cheer the staff up. We decided to hang chocolate from our ‘Wellness Washing Line’ in the ‘Chill-out Zone’. “It will make the staff happy”, Katie said. “Well done guys!”, Mrs Davies commented, “It really cheered me up”.
